Onn streaming device running hot! Issues with IPvanish

I have been using the Onn streaming device for well over 12-14 months now. Over the past two months i have had issues with my ipvanish account disconnecting. Only from this device. I have experimented with disconnecting the device. Is there a flaw with it? I have yet to read on this problem.

Is the box over heating? Thats a very common issue with this box.

@TXRon is correct. Those are notorious for overheating. Almost any box is unless you have something like a Shield Pro with a built in fan

I that simply propping my ONN on its edge makes a great deal of difference in how hot it gets.

So funny how y’all will complain if a IPTV service is more than $10-$15 a month but will buy multiple of these $65-$85 streaming devices. Make it make sense please lol :joy: LMAO

Look at the price of:
-A cable sub with the sports and news channels
-Youtube TV
-Fubo
-Hulu Plus

It makes a lot of sense.
The only service that makes a little sense to use is Sling…and that’s getting out of hand.

Yes I agree streaming device is the way to go over cable but most people on here will complain about IPTV price if it’s more than $15 a month so this post was kind of funny to me.

Not one post since I started have I complained about the price of IPTV. In fact, I say all the time that I would be willing to pay more for a great service. And I would.

@AMD237 has the perfect solution. I took his advice and did a fan on mine, and also put one on my mecool km2. No more heat!

I even have a fan on my Modem and Receiver now…and all of my boxes too. :rofl: :ice_cube:

lol, thats just my linux pc, server pc and a rarely used windows pc, and a ugoos ut8 for golf :joy:… and the usb bank on left runs up to my shield so I dont have to get up :rofl:
