My Onn streaming device is not showing a picture at all. I unplugged the device and even put ice under it. Any other tips to get it working?
Hey @blah99 Find an HDMI cable that you know works & try it on your ONN… ![]()
Also maybe try a different HDMI port on your tv…& dbl check that you’re on the proper source.
Tried a different HDMI cable and other HDMI ports. No dice.
Copy…& you’re sure you’re connected to the proper video source/input…? If yes…is this the 1st time you’re hooking up your ONN box?
Yes it’s connected the right video source and everything. Had the box working for a while now until this no picture issue happened.
Can you get into settings on the box?
Roger that…OK, if you can eliminate the hdmi cable, tv port, proper source from your tv remote & the tv itself…& the box was working fine before & now all the sudden it doesn’t…only one thing left. If you can’t think of anything you could have possibley done to it then I’m pretty much out of ideas…sorry…I assume it’s past the 30 day return time frame since you got it…?
If everything above is working sounds like the unit is gone.
Nope can’t get into settings or anything. Box is probably dead. Past 30 day return policy…
Only other thing I could suggest is to try it on another tv. I’ve accidentally shut down a system app that runs the home screen & no picture whatsoever…but like Ron was alluding to, I was able to get into settings & get it opened again. GL2U ![]()
Is it plugged in to the usb brick and into the wall socket?
I had the same problem with my Onn Box a month ago, caused by a faulty OTG hub. I had to factory re-set to get it working again. Switch it on and hold down the reset button for about 10 seconds. Worked for me.
Forgot all about that little button on the ONN boxes, & I have one, d’uh…hope ur tip works

Removed the OTG cable and tried to reset the box. I think the box is dead. Thanks for the tips everyone.
Hi it isn’t just a faulty power supply? is it a 5volt type as I have had some of them not giving any supply out.
The box lights still turn on so I don’t think it’s the power supply.
It sounds like its goosed alright then it would be no harm to eliminate the possibility though as it doesn’t require much current to light the leds but it would require a lot more to power the box.
When all else fails do a factory reset. Press and hold the button on the side of the box where the light is
