I followed Troys video on setting up ONN and Kodi. However I am not able to allow files in the drop down on Kodi. I gave Kodi permission but the drop down is not happening and so the Kodi add-on will not work. HELP been doing this for days
Instead of add ons put in favorites
I’m no expert but the Onn Stick may not have the power to run Kodi trouble free…
I have KODI on the Onn HD stick. It’s slower than the 4kPlus or 4k Pro2 but it does work.
What happens with my ONN 4K Plus stick is after installing Kodi when you go into apps, then Kodi when you go into permissions the drop down to allow all files doesn’t work.
I followed Troy installation video, he would have made note if it wasn’t powerful enough.
I added the Crew, don’t know how to put that in favorites, I think it installs itself in the Kodi app.

Do you know how much storage you have available on your Onn 4K stick? This is typically why we prefer Onn 4K boxes instead if you are able to get one - Onn 4K Plus vs Onn 4K Pro: Which Google TV Box is Better?
The Onn 4K Plus is a compact streaming box (not a stick) released by Walmart in May 2025, priced at approximately $30.
He might mean the 4k stick. Either way, the 4k stick is now $40 and the 4k box is now $50!

Hold on highlight until you get the option to add crew to favorite, then choose favorite, that should move it.
