After rebooting my onn box it will only show the apps on internal storage- it will not recognize the external drive where most of my apps are. Neve had this problem before. Suggestions?
Hello, this has to do with USB Debugging under Dev Options. Did you turn that on prior to formatting the disk? If not, when you reboot, it won’t recognize. You may need to re-do the process that way. I covered that in my video here.
Well. After installing apps on the onn tv box, anything connected to my OTG dongle stops being recognized. The mouse reciever, and sd card reader will not pop up. Only solution was factory resetting onn box. But then shortly after reinstalling sideloaded apps, the home button on the onn controller stopped responding. I got it to work after power disconnecting tv box but now the mouse stopped working again and the otg usb slot wont recognize anything. I might return the onn box if i cant get it to work properly.
I did try switching usb debug on off. No success
I had a similar problem with the original Onn and it turned out to be a faulty OTG hub. Replaced the hub and all was well again.
