Very timely review for me. I am in Canada and the ONN 4K Pro is available now CAD 75 but this 4K Plus is not yet available. You found issues with Android TV 14 and Projectivy but not in the Google TV Streamer 4K. Do you think it is worth waiting for the OS 14 vice the 12 in the ONN 4K Pro? The CPU, and ports seem compatible/better with USB-C vice A and without the barrel power plug? Does the USB-C support data? Could ethernet be connected through the USB?

I just got the ONN 4K plus. My question is I downloaded Tivimate app, I’m trying to put in my credentials and it keeps saying error. My credentials are correct. I’ve also watched the video. Is there something that’s not set thru settings?

Question on which HDMI to plug into. I have 4 on my TCL. One is 4K earc 60hz the others are 4K ranging from 60hz to 120hz to144hz. Which one is the best. Decided to try the Onn box again especially the plus. Thanks

eARC should be your best HDMI plugin.

But keep in mind that the eARC is the one you would use if you are driving a sound bar. It serves as both an output as well as an input.

I set 2 onn 4k plus boxes up for my parents. Both get this pop up randomly. I tried messing with cec but no help. Im using launcher manager and projectivity (which is what i suspect is the problem). Anyone have a suggestion?

Although it has yet happened to me, I would say it’s either the box is too hot & needs cooling, OR check the power supply (plug) Try to use one with a higher output amperage. Hope it helps.

Thanks for the reply. I think I figured it out though. It was the internal idle monitor on projectivity (i think). I had them turn that off on both yesterday and it hasn’t come back. But if it does I will try another plug.
