Well it seems that you can no longer enter the developer mode on the new ONN TV Plus boxes. I tried to do the press 7 times thing and developer no longer comes up. After searching it seems Onn TV has removed the option of being able to do this. Now I can not install many apps that I was once able to download and use. Very up setting. I use Cinema for all my TV shows and now I cant. Help anyone who may have a fix for this.

Exactly where did you go and what did you click 7 times?
Is there a Device Preferences in the Settings menu? Click on it and then you should have an “About” you can click on, then scroll down and find “Android TV OS build” and click on that 7 times. Shot in the dark though as I don’t have any ONNs but most Android are similar.
Hello, I just did the following video yesterday and dev options is working as it always has. Also, you don’t need developer options on to sideload apps.
I go through all of this in new video below. If you can’t get to Dev options after watching my instructions I would suggest doing a factory reset as there is something wrong with your device.
in response to the ONN android box. I just bought a ONN 4k box from walmart ca. i had searched for the plus version and it looks like no plus version is available. Thinking i should return it as i saw somewhere that says it doesnt support 3 rd parry apps. I use only MEcool boxes and thought i would give the ONN a try. Am i wasting my time with the ONN 4k non plus version?

You have to click 7 times on Build. Just finished setting up 6 of them and have 9 more yet to do. Best thing about the 32gb $49 version is the ability to plug in a Samsung 3.1 USB drive and install all of your apps upon it.
