Actually it’s kind of screwing with the operation of my Cube version 3. It keeps going out, but the good thing is it about 2 weeks ago I picked a nvidia shield Pro 2019 and I have been spending hours in setting it up. Bought a third party remote. Without a doubt Amazon has a much more comfortable remote, and I’m hoping I get more comfortable with this one that I purchased, because it sure is convenient on other levels having a keyboard and also something like that a cursor. I knew it was coming and was going to keep getting worse, no matter what I do to try to block it, they find a way around it, in fact I was right in the middle of watching a movie when I get an alert that an update had failed. They just updated it a few days ago. They are getting aggressive.

I also found the Amazon remote preferable to (and perfectly compatible with) the Shield’s. Sadly, it’s laggy and buggy with Onn devices and my T95Z Plus.
Use the Shield Pro remote on your phone. KB, cursor, lots of advantages, although as a long time user of the shield I loved the triangular remote but the KB and cursor on the remote app was a huge advantage on occassions where typing and cursor click were needed. The playstore has it I believe. Been a while since I used my shield, actually sold it in the “Swap Shop” category.
