Ola Tv just stopped running on my Firestick

I installed the latest version of Ola TV, V18, and the accompnying Ludio and Kshaw apps about a week ago. Everything was working fine for a week, then suddenly yesterday (07/11/22), it stopped running. Everytime I clicked on it, it flashed the logo, and shut down. So far I have tried all the following:

  1. Turned VPN on and off. didn;t work
  2. Uninstalled all three, and reinstalled it. didn’t work
  3. Installed the older versions of Ola (17 & 14), didn’t work
  4. I used my cell phone hotspot, to see if the ISP was the problem. same think

Not sure Ola is rejecting my firestick, or firestick rejecting Ola. Please help.

Ola TV, being free, is YMMV - one day it will work, another day it won’t. I had it on my Shield & uninstalled it - got so frustrated with it. Red Box TV is much more reliable - tried it the other day & i’d say about 80% of the channels came in. For REAL reliable TV channels - i believe there’s about 93 - try https://ustvgo.tv/. I’ve never had an issue with channels not working (& i’m in Canada!)

I agree, red box is better and USTVGO is really reliable. Just no guide.

Ustvgo has a tv guide. It’s on the top bar oddly enough it says TV Guide. 3rd from the right.

Red Box i believe hasn’t updated in ages - think it’s v. 2.1?? Found it far more reliable then Ola TV by a country mile!
I tested out so many free TV services on Kodi before i finally cut the cord & got a real (paying) iptv service!

I LOVE KODI - couldn’t live without it. Goes hand-in-hand with IPTV service (especially since everyone is getting rid of catchup in their services because it’s too expensive to maintain!)

OLA has been flakey for a couple of months now. Almost daily updates, server additions and channel changes. I gave up and went with the free IPTV in TiViMate, now I have 2 subs given to me and don’t think I’ll ever go back to Ola. At one time I had over 800 servers listed and where they were and what ones had US content. TiViMate is far more reliable imho.

I have TiViMate and Stremio. Kodi went the way of the DoDo for me a couple of months back.

I like the 24/7 movie and tv shows. Are there any other apk’s thay have them?

My TiViMate sub has them. 550 on one, 700 on the other. As Pete pointed out, some are super inexpensive.

There’s an KODI addon for USTVGO. I didn’t see websurfer post the web link. Im watching the Yankees game with my wife lol…I have an MBL Subscription :baseball::baseball::baseball:

I had redbox in TiViMate at one time. I’ll have to dig out the m3u url and see if it’s being updated.

I got an even better deal than that, for 2 servers of Live TV + VOD - $4.20 U.S. a month for 6 months - too bad it’s expiring on Sunday - & i can’t find the owner anywhere - either by e-mail. Telegram or even by phone!!!
