This is giving me fits. I am finally getting the hang of using a new remote control I bought for my Nvidia shield. Now for some reason, when I open a program on my tivimate app the sound is there. But no matter what I have tried, my tv remote or my new remote will turn the volume up and down, but the actual sound does not increase or decrease. I have searched online, and tried all the different settings I could to solve the issue. I don’t know what to do next.
This issue only exists on the Tivimate App? Do you run sound through a receiver for surround sound or anything?
Thankyou: I found the issue. I do have a homage surround sound system using 2 separate speakers. This morning I forgot to turn one of them on. That messed up the whole thing. Your question caused me to check both speakers.
