Yes sir your correct, its not that I dont read the articles my problem is if it says divice preferences and not settings im thrown off.
Im a Marine, retired law, I can give everyone manuals on how to shoot professionally and proficiently, but if I don’t show you step by step then its relying on your own talent and understanding.
I truly honestly appriciate the guidance that everyone is providing, this is truly the best 80 dollars i have spent.I will do as you instructed and search it out.

I’ve owned my 2019 Nvidia Shield Pro for over 5 years now. It seems to work ok but there are so many settings I simply do not understand. Sometimes something will happen and I’ll go into setting and start tweaking.
My question is, do you think its a good idea to do a Factory Reset and start from anew? What do you think the PRO’s and CON’s are?
Also, I know this is discussed in another post but, does anyone have a “go-to” Troypoint, Youtube, or any video that explains the Shield Pro Setup in detail?
There really aren’t many negatives of factory resetting a box, other than the obvious need to reload and setup the box on the back end. In fact, resetting is a great way to clean out and get rid of any issues that could have built up over the years.
The Shield Pro isn’t much different than any Android TV or Google TV box that we talk about on here, so to get it set up to your liking you will have a lot of insight to read through. My process is picking which launcher I would like to use, loading my VPN, VPN Dot, and cleaner utilities, and then choosing which streaming apps I’m going to load. The Troypoint Toolbox can make this a breeze, just let us know if you need any help.
