I am thinking about ditching the firetv and going with the Nvidia pro shield. What is the process for “jailbreaking” or sideloading the apps that i want such as Cinema, BeeTv etc? Do I need a separate android device, PC or anything? I currently have a Toshiba FireTv, will it work on that? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Same thing man. We have tons of info on this… its been covered. Unkown sources and turn off play protect in google
After you have enabled Developer Options. Then the very first thing you should do is to scroll down to “NETWORK DEBUGGING” and enable it! While you are there you can change your Animation Scales (Windows, Transition, and Animator) to .5x.
Unless you really know what you are doing in Developer Options it is best to leave stuff alone that you are unsure of.
