NVIDIA Shield Launcher Looks Different After Factory Reset

I recently had cause to reset my 2019 nVidia Shield Pro to factory specs (previously it had the original factory setup). Unfortunately, the new home screen layout and options look absolutely awful, like a cheap android box, and nothing like the original home screen.

Is there something I missed in the setup?

Hello, try rebooting the device and just give it some time to update in the background. Usually the launcher will eventually update to the new Google TV layout that it uses.

Thanks Troy. I read something similar on Reddit about the updating, post-reset. Fingers crossed!

EDIT: Yep, that did the trick - updated the interface overnight. Phew!!!
