The only problem I have with this box is in the last three updates . The last update is 9.1 and still hearing reports of trouble with them . I am still on 8.0 an working great .Thank god I never updated it . Still waiting for a stable update .

That is like asking Kia or Lamborghini lol. If you can afford $200, the Shield is the best out there. If you are more budget minded, Firesticks (including the Max) are very reasonably priced for the specs and the performance that they provide. Both Shield and Firesticks will be fine for most cord-cutting activities.

Shields do rock. Love ours. Price can be the issue. I picked up a Mecool KM2 a little while back and I am really digging it. It’s on our living room tv now and the Shield Pro went to bedroom. @TROYPOINT has some excellent reviews on product and even discounts as well. Check them out. Thinking about grabbing a KM2 Plus after watching his review on it.

Never had an issue. I was actually completely unaware anyone was having issues with a firmware update for the Shield. The thing is badass and solid as a rock.

Many havent but many have had issues . They are still workng on the firmware issues .

True, Love the shield but to be fair …its more than I need. The km6 I have does just as well for what I use it for. The shield is just more versatile…esp for gamers, those wanting a cheap server for emby,plex,channelsdvr etc… it just rocks.

The difference between nvidea and chineese boxes is when/if a problem comes up you can rest assured they are on it. The others…not so much :face_with_monocle: :roll_eyes:

actually is my toy streamer aka starwars shuttle :joy:… Im using a ugoos x4 pro as a server and tonight I will attempt the setup. All on it will be emby server setup with samba to connect the house devices(lan), my qnap will run docker and the trick will get them all to play nice. :face_with_diagonal_mouth:

Thanks @Bigrich Been battling cancer for about 10 years. Had 11 lymph nodes removed from left side along with reverse shoulder replacement when they removed the mass. Soft tissue Sarcoma. The toxins have no where to go so they back up and her arm gets Cellulitis 2-3 times/year and it’s usually a 5 day stay for IV antibiotics
