NVIDIA Shield Browser WIFI Login issues

Hey guys - I am having issues with my Shield Pro and logging into vacation wifi network. Issue is that local wifi requires browser login, but my browsers will not load the log in page to allow the input of password. It simply keeps logging into the link that was successfully done on day one, but not for any subsequent “re-log-ins” which the vacation property requires periodically. I’ve tried using TVBro, and a new browser, reset the wifi inside Shield, used Fast Task Killer to shutdown the browsers and clean data and cache, but nothing seems to allow the browser to pull in the wifi log in screen. It simply keeps signing in using some previous saved info - without the password, so NO internet connectivity.

I soke to the wifi tech help folks, but they will not help with Shield issues. They suggested using my phone to create hot spot, then, downloading a different browser and see if that helped - which it did for the first login attempt. Wifi (internet access) worked fine for five days, then the vacation property required “re-login” for their wifi network, and thats when the problem restarted.

Yes, I have rebooted the Shield multiple time.

Help!

Thanks in advance.

DJ

Try going into your WiFi settings and “forget” the vacation WiFi network. Restart the shield and see if a prompt comes up to select a network or gives you an option to select the network and then do the same thing the first time you logged in.

Thanks Miki - I will try this again, in that order. Have done it multiple times without success.

Thanks a bunch!

You are most welcome.
