Number of Servers Surfshark VS IPVanish VPN

I know it’s not perfect but doesn’t SurfShark have more servers than IPvanish?

Hello, please watch my video. IPVanish has a lot more IP addresses which helps with blocks. You can choose from around 100+ IP addresses within an actual location whereas most other VPN services don’t do that.

Other services offer one IP address per location and are easier to block.

I get the feature that IPVanish has but wouldn’t those servers change periodically anyway ? I have a question about all the servers on Surfshark , I’ve been using the ones with the small percentage in the circle icon that is displayed ! I usually have success with several overseas servers. Thanks for showing that feature and also the Surfshark feature of connecting and disconnecting and reconnecting to get a different server !

Hello, thanks for the comment. Yes, the smaller the load the faster the connection should be but I’ve found that’s not always the case. I usually test a bunch of different servers regardless of that server symbol that shows load.

You would think that Surfshark and other VPNs would be constantly swapping their IP addresses out for new ones within each of those locations but unfortunately that’s not the case. I’ve been using the Chicago server for a very long time 3+ years and those IP addresses are the same.

Not sure how big of a problem this is anyway. My comment toward the end of the video states that users can always find a better IPTV service or addon that doesn’t block any VPNs as there’s plenty to choose from.

Not sure, however I’ve found Surfshark to be much better after using both. I’ve got less buffering for whatever reason.

I’ve recently run into issues connecting my service via SS. I’ve tried everything to no avail. Approx 1/5 connections work. I switched over to IPVanish and immediately connected. I gave it a few days and did some testing again. Same thing…connecting/disconnecting multiple locations & servers to find one that works. Went back to check IPVanish again and instant connection. Been dealing with this for a few weeks now. Up until then, SS was flawless. I’ve even gone as far as to uninstall and reinstall

@Streaming429 , has SS had a recent update, when i had SS updates almost always threw a wrench in the bike spokes….but most times it would ease out and start acting right again….

Not sure how it works. But when say I connect to SS Chicago it shows a IP address. I disconnect and reconnect to SS Chicago again, it shows a different IP address. What’s up with that? Would that not be the same as IPVanish. I just don’t get to chose from SS

Thanks for reporting on this. Yeah, it seems that IPVanish is doing a much better job with these VPN blocks due to their huge list of IP Addresses that the other VPNs don’t have.

Adjustment to VPN rankings may be coming soon…

Hello, I just did a video two days ago regarding exactly what you are referring to.

See this for explanation.
