I have been using SmartTube on my Amazon Firestick 4K Max and past couple days when I go to open it says user code is loading but no code comes up does this mean we can’t use app on the Firestick anymore.
Also if we can’t use this anymore can you sideload the Brave Browser on the Firestick
Try using your Android phone to scan The QR code that is displayed. It should take you to the website and you may have to log in or it may automatically enter the code. Give that a try. gl2u. FYI it says Chrome or Firefox and the sticks have Silk installed. But the QR code should work.

Well I don’t have an Android phone I only have an IPhone and I scanned the bar code with my iPhone it asked for a code but no code shows up it just says it is loading a code and doesn’t do anything else and I have waited like 5-10 minutes and no code has showed up at all just keeps saying user code is loading
Then just type the https:// address on your laptop. That is how I did it.
A code should show at the top. If not, then uninstall and re-install.
Well I don’t know what was going on with that but when I cleared the cache and force closed the app that went away
iPhones don’t scan QR codes??
Don’t forget to go into SmartTube settings and check for updates. The dev updates quite a bit.
I get the exact same problems as Cooltwou and Eirehead (who posted a couple days ago in another thread). I didn’t have issues until I switched from IPVanish to SurfShark. After I finally sign in successfully, I get no loadings of channels. I still have both VPNs in my Firestick, and when I turn off SurfShark and turn on IPVanish, the problem goes away. If there is a chance that it is Surfshark, would you know of a fix? I would like to keep SurfShark.
This happened to me also. Seems there was some kind of update which didn’t work for everyone.SURPRIS SURPRIS!! Uninstall and reinstall tthe app. This worked for me.
Well, I believe I fixed the problem with this! I went into Surfshark and changed the vpn protocol from Wireguard to OpenVPN/ UDP. Seemed it was a better option for streaming over Open VPN/ TCP, and Smart Tube works fine now.
I had the same problem recently. Randomly happened. I uninstalled the app, and then re-installed through Troypoint. Pointing my phone at the qr code did nothing.
Now works better than ever. More content on YT than formerly.
I have a different solution that worked for me. Rather than clicking on “Sign in” using the buttons from a section, I went to Settings/Accounts and clicked “Sign in” there. The user code showed up immediately. I had to set up multiple firesticks this way, so it wasn’t just a fluke.
