I need to replace my Nividia Shield. What is the fastest streaming device that is Google certified, that is the best for Stremio, iptv, but don’t play games and don’t need plex?

Is there a specific reason why you want Google certified?
For the ease of use with Netflix (for example), but not married to the concept. Before spending $200 on another Shield I wanted to get feedback on other devices people are using. Although, I don’t need a replacement device for gaming and/or PLEX. I mainly need a replacement for Stremio, IPTV and other similar streaming needs.
@Bwonder5 Gotcha. If you could live without HD Netflix, we’ve been very happy with the Ugoos X5M so far. I found it easier to set up than the Google based ONN devices.
The results might surprise you, but you asked for the fastest streaming device. Here they are with benchmarks. Not saying that means they are the best overall just the fastest.

I would like to stay in the $150 window.
I bought a google streamer during prime days for $72, it works nice, no USB port unless you can OTG cable it like the Onn plus boxes but it has 1000m ethernet port.
Maybe look at the Gseries Buzz TV box
I have a Ugoos SK2 that is certified, but only 100m ethernet port.

I would also suggest looking at the Ugoos AM9 Pro. I love mine. So easy to set up and plays flawlessly.
You can get a refurbished Ugoos AM9 on Amazon for $154. They are depleting their stock and are now down to 12 left. I like this box so much, I’ve bought 3 of them.
Better than the AM8 or SK1? I did notice there was no Slimbox for them.
But, the AM9 and Pro model is not Google certified. The poster was looking for a Google Certified box.
Yes. The processor is an upgrade from the SK1. The hardware is on par or better that either of the 2 others. The AI and picture upscaling is superb. The O/S is AOSP but if you have to have AndroidTV you can get a Slimbox download for the AM9. I just happen to like AOSP and the things you can do with it better. If you order the refurbished AM9 from Amazon, double check to make sure you get the proper power plug. The last one I ordered (refurbished), came with a Lenovo plug that would not work with it. I had a proper spare power plug to use and it works perfectly.

Thank you, I added one to my cart not sure if I want to try one. The AM8 I picked up her in the swap shop a while back I like, but it seems to be giving me issues the last few weeks with the remotes not staying connected, and it boots very slow, compared to the other devices I have.
Thinking of trying slimbox even the AOSP version. I don’t mind AOSP, I did do the ATV version on one of my x88 devices.

NVIDIA shield is just took expensive at this moment. Hopefully I will find a device that I can afford and is easy to setup. I’ve never used anything but Firestick Max
