This is the Price of Blatant Stupidity. No trial, just a judge with a gravel.

The guy will destroy some of the units, declare bankruptcy and reopen with a new name.

Clearly, Dish scored a big victory against the small guy and scared the heck outta lots of folks.

This tactic worked so well in the 70s and 80s when you could get 30 years for an ounce of MJ. That’s how we got rid of all the illegal drugs, brilliant.

One other thought … Will Dish survive?

I mean cmon you gotta be stupid to open up a business knowingly selling illegal services thinking you are NOT gonna be caught. Then you receive 6 cease and desist letters and keep on going. This store owner got what he deserved small business or not

That’s sort of true. The main intent is really for deterrence.

This is interesting because there’s a similar brick & mortar business in Massachusetts that has been around for a # of years. They sell firesticks loaded with a branded app (ex: Smarters) with IPTV service. They sell these for $250 per device. I find it quite brazen that anyone would have a physical storefront and a website doing this without the expectation that eventually you get caught…
