Ive been seeing these issues nightly with many saved titles removed, however I can usually find it with other add-ns I will not mention here ![]()
We MAY eventually have to watch VOD on an IPTV (GASP) service if these debrids all go bye bye someday. Parish the thought!
Everybody thought they were going byby the last time they were having trouble. Give them some time to figure this out before panicking. I’m sure they are working on it.
@GraceWilson I watch about 90% VOD on my main IPTV service. It’s got it’s own app and the layout for shows/movies is better than Tivimate IMO. While I don’t have Trakt integrated I can easily add to my favorites and shows are marked as watched in the app. Still use KODI for about the other 10%
Which is?
Thanks for the information.
Yeah sorry can’t give that up anymore. Private, invite only, no internet presence, no social media far underground. Was invited by someone here 3 years ago and I also invited a few others here. But then one of their subs was violating the rules and they said if this happens again not only does the person that broke the rules gets booted, but also the person that invited them is booted as well. The service is just too good to take any risks So I only invite those I personally know now
I am having trouble signing into my real debrid account.
No problem logging in, just random working and non-working functionality.
Here is the latest update from Real-Debrid added to our article.
UPDATE: Shortly after publication, Real-Debrid’s parent company, XT Network, responded to a TorrentFreak report and disputed claims linking the recent changes to any corporate restructuring.
The company stated that its filtering system was implemented to comply with the European Union’s Digital Services Act (DSA) and French law. According to XT Network, Real-Debrid operates as a technical intermediary and uses keyword-based filters tied to notices submitted by trusted flaggers.
The company also pointed to a March 2026 ruling by the Paris Court of Appeal, which it says supports its position against broad monitoring obligations for intermediary services. XT Network added that users can report filtering mistakes if legitimate files are incorrectly blocked.
So, a bunch of marketing-speak that says nothing!
Pretty much what you’d expect. Deflect, deny, and then sit on their hands. My sub isn’t up until Oct. So once again I will wait and see.
I cannot sign into my real Debrid account to see how much time left on subscription.
If you read the Torrent Freak piece, you’ll see that RD’s current parent company is saying something. It’s not just BS boiler plate.
They were induced or compelled to change filtering method used from blocking hashes to blocking key “words”, those words pointing to repositories where links could be streamed and/or downloaded via RD.
What remains to be seen is whether the two founders changed their company’s designations in order to remain in business or solely to limit their and their money’s legal exposure.
If you read the link Troy gave you will see many bits of information that suggest, shall we say, less than above board maneuvering by the two owners. Not sure any of us have read, or know, the true story, or if we ever will. Such is the machinations of the corporate world. I believe, from what I’ve read, that their intent is indeed to stay in business, but to distance themselves from what has come to be considered, illegal copyright infringement use of their platform via cached sources. The final chapter is far from being written. My belief is that RD will no longer be useful, for most addons used to access copyrighted material without proper licensing.
Yep. My impression is that, in 2024, they acted to skirt the rules to both semi-satisfy the authorities and to remain in business.
Back then yes, but now they are stopping the use of cached videos violating copyright agreements in order to stay in business. So RD will slowly become useless in Addons accessing movies and series without the proper rights.
I think that is probably going to be the case.
It’s all just guesswork right now. That’s why I am just waiting. I have disabled my RD API in all my addons and if things changed I’ll get a new API and authorize it in certain addons.
