I’m getting about the same thing on a BuzzTV X5 64/128 AX-C right after a OS update. I open Downloader and then closes. Also Troypoint APP is gone.
That worked. I disabled my VPN and was able to install SportzX.

@jmaute not sure sounds a little steep and if it has all that how much of it is actually real? and what else may be loaded on the stick? just my opinion
I’m typically against these “Fully loaded” devices but that’s not actually a bad deal if you are really getting all that.
10 year KODI user but I have no idea how they auto update KODI though and keep in mind when a major new release (Not a point release) of KODI comes out you will need to reinstall KODI and any addons as the Dev’s typically tweak the addons for the release.
Also the APK’s come and go some will die. Some mentioned above already are dead (Cinema, Sportsfire)
As long as you are comfortable with Fixing things when they break (they will) and can add apps to replace the ones that die I don’t see any issue with you getting this
@SoloWarrior @jmaute Yes I get it but also isn’t the new Amazon firesticks with Vega OS? And isn’t Amazon blocking a lot of stuff? Just curious since I have 3 Firesticks and still using Version 8.1 Fire OS had applied the fix that was posted and while back and so far so good 
but also have a 1st version ONN that is still in the box just everything has been good so far just hate to change LOL 
@DaleB1 I also thought about the Vega OS as well but am just assuming these are older Firesticks because as you said none of this would work on the new sticks with Vega OS.
I’ve been off the sticks for several years but still have a1st Generation one I take when I travel. KODI and my IPTV services work great on it
