this the second update that i cannot get subtitles to work!?! works fine in the 4.0 version but the subtitles will not load at all, this is more than irritating! Anyone else have this problem or not have this problem. I have tried the usual bs, stopped cleared the cache restarted the firestick!!!
I run an older version of Cinema and yes subtitles are harder to get. Try signing up, for free, open subtitles.com and .org
I find most subs on Cinema are generally imbedded in links. Every once in awhile you get lucky.
I did download the new version for someone and it’s very different than the one I run. As long as mine works, I’m not touching it.

I have version 5.2, it works, not upgrading since no one seems to know anything about this developer and the changes he is making. The 5.2 version sends back fewer links. Thanks but know thanks.

why subtitles? Can’t hear or second language?
I radely use Cinema. What I found works is to select the Play option - not Play with Subtiles - and then use the subtitle button provided by the media player. You may have to try several feeds that have subtitles.
once i upgraded to the latest fire stick i don’t have much problems with the sub titles like i used to. so older versions of any media box or stick is probably causing problems.
