Mine buffered the whole time. I gave up and didn’t watch the fight, I am a netflix subscriber.
Well it was the same for me except it got progressively worse as the night went on. NF decided it was my provider and needed to check my internet connection and speed. You know I don’t mind when a Kodi site buffers or has a problem that isn’t something I’m paying for, but when something that I am paying for does this I’ve got issues. This reminded me of the “Good Ol’ Days” when streaming first started and things buffered, but in this day and age this shouldn’t happen and surely not with a company that just raised their price. I did end up seeing the Tyson fight on my laptop with a Kodi app & no buffering. Hey NFL did you see the part where Uncle Jerry’s mic didn’t work…what does the NFL want for Xmas?
I agree 100% with Troy. LEMO TV to the rescue. I had numerous streaming options to choose from within the unverified IPTV service. It saved the evening. No buffering.
I too pay for Netflix but keep an iptv for backup and it was also buffering.
I waited about 10 minutes then went back but it was showing the first fight so I just clicked and hit forward till I got to the Fight !!! And it was joke
Actually, it was not the Netflix that buffered but Tyson was keeping distance from Paul so that the kid won’t get hurt accidentally from his left hand punch. That distance is the actual buffering
I’ve been through the same as everyone else with the same resolutions…restart the app, fast forward to live and wait!
I, however, did not attempt to check out IPTV as I figured my $5.99 purchase of Netflix that same morning would pull through…
What was funny for me is at several intervals, my actually internet went down. I am with Xplornet via a satellite dish and how I knew it went down is my home screen for the Firestick would not load, so I am thinking it was a double-whammy for me.
Despite the Tyson fight’s outcome, the Taylor/Serrano fight was incredible but thought Serrano would’ve been the winner…
The eye flap was amazing…
Is anybody getting any refunds from Netflix?
everyone including those that don’t subscribe to netflix should get a refund! I mean that’s hours of our life that we can’t get back.
Mine was worse. I tried to join…the only button that worked was the $22.00 option. Tried calling until 3AM. Useless plus the fact had to watch a replay. Canceled and wrote to them. Doubt I’ll hear from them and stuck with a $27.00 charge.
I don’t understand why everyone is talking about buffering. I have a free Netflix account subscribing to T Mobile. My wife and I watched every fight. No buffering whatsoever. Coachpare
Yeah coachpare, I didn’t have any problems or buffering at all either.
Where are you from Billy. No problem at all in Florida for me. Take care
I got the same buffering watching the Mike Tyson VS Jake Paul main event. I found it frustrating and did not expect this from Netflix. I usually do not get much buffering with my hardware. A good point was made that there was probably a lot of viewers for this event (more than anticipated by Netflix). Even websites were known to go down when an excessive amount of traffic hit the site.
I was also disappointed by the fight. Mike Tyson held his own even thought he lost. Not bad for a 58 year old.
Back in my day, it was HBO and cost around $20 and you invited all your friends who also invited their friends to watch the fight. We got cheated one year when Mike knocked someone out in round 1 or 2. Memory is bad.
KODI pulls live sports from their original broadcasters. In this case Netflix which is why it still buffered.
It all depends on which server you land on. All of these apps run off of servers …multiple servers. That’s why some people experienced buffering while others didn’t.
I had one 5 second buffering on my IPTV Service. The rest was flawless
I’m like everyone else started on Netflix then switched to my IPTV wish I wouldn’t have watched that fight or stayed up that late. I’m in the US East Coast and that was definitely one of the worst scripted fights I’ve ever seen in my life. It was a payday for Mike Tyson for sure. I think even at 57 years old Mike Tyson would of destroyed Jake Paul In a real match.
