Netflix blocking Surfshark

i joined Surfshark last night to access different countries to receive different Netflix content. It worked perfectly last night but it appears Netflix has caught on and i cannot do this anymore without disconnecting the power from the device and doing a reboot. Even this only works once and the process would have to be done again which is too much work and takes up too much time. I’ve cleared the cache and but this doesn’t work.

Any suggestions please?

Change your VPN server location

i have changed countries if that is what you’re referring to without success.

Have you tried another VPN like a free one just to test. And is it possible if your using on your router a DHCP to unplug power and then change passwords for your wifi then your surfshark and make sure you have updated app version. Just thinking of all possible steps. Hope this helps. I do not use Netflix but someone in a different region told me he had the same restricted content problem. I only know one way around this.

Hello @crownprinceman

Are you clearing your Netflix cache like I show in the video?

This is reason why it doesn’t work for me if I don’t clear cache.

If that doesn’t work, reboot your router and go through process again.

Troy I saw you release the video today about being able to connect to Netflix UK and watching the office. I’ve also been able to do something similar with the series demon Slayer for the kids. One thing that I keep having problems and haven’t found a solution maybe you could help is connecting to Arabic countries to watch their Netflix versus the US.

Anyways I tried clearing cash in Netflix after forcing the stop switching surfshark to Egypt Emirates etc no luck.

I uploaded a screenshot not sure if you can see it It says you seem to be using an unblocker or a proxy Please turn off any of these services and try again for help visit Netflix says, 'You seem to be using a VPN or proxy.' | Netflix Help Center

If you could give me any advice I’d greatly appreciate it Thank you I have been a member now since 2017

I wonder if the TDUK DNS Switcher with an encrypted DNS would help? Just a guess though, as I’ve never used netflix, and have it disabled, but maybe something to try.

I have not had any problems with Netflix. I used it last night. My SS is installed on my router.

It just depends on which country you’re trying to watch the from like I can watch certain shows from Japan and other countries. But certain countries like the Middle East I cannot.

Make sure the surfshark clean web is turned off for watching netflix.
