Net neutrality and Netflix

Several ways of looking at this.My take, netflix sure isn’t in this fight for the consumer,it’s because they are concerned they will lose subscribers over throttling and extra charges by some isps.Problem is netflix already sort of does the same thing. You want 4k pay extra, you don’t want ads,pay extra. It’s kind of like the pot calling the kettle black in my mind. All for open internet, but make no mistake, the big monopolies will continue to gouge us anyway they can.

I’m of the mind that our local ISPs should not now, or ever, be forced to “Police” our internet use. Regardless of the content suppliers, the internet “pipelines” should be unregulated.

1000% agree. But money and governments make the rules, chances are the consumers will get the shaft in the end.

But I’ll definitely keep an eye on my local congressman as to how I vote when it comes to matters like this.
