Firefox is no longer supported on FireStick, but is still my favorite browser as I get 0 buffering with it vs. Silk which just SUX and I refuse to give Google access to my life via Chrome.
When I got my new Firestick I went to install it and could not find a legit link to use in Downloader to install Firefox.
Can anyone provide a link that will work in downloader.
Suggestion: Can we get a list of downloadables that work with Downloader here on TroyPoint.
You could try apps2fire on your phone and send it to your firestick if you can’t find anything. It works well to sideload apps over wifi using your sticks IP address.
This sounds like a great backup plan as there’s a number of potential challenges. I have already downloaded the Android version and it installs fine but there’s no ability to use a pointer.
If I follow you I have to
1 install app2fire on my android phone
2. Then which version of Firefox do I send? As mentioned above, I installed the latest Firefox from Mozilla and it didn’t have a pointer setup on the firestick
3, what if anything to I need to do to find it on the Firestick menu

I honestly don’t know the because I don’t use it on my stick. I wanted to give you an alternative way to move one from your phone/table to your stick. It seems that @tech2 has a link for you.
Unfortunately it doesn’t work. There’s no pointer/cursor control
What I need is a viable link to the APK file for FireFiox. I really don’t care how old it is just as long as it works.
Firefox Focus is imho the best version for android, not sure if its on amazon. Amazon wants you to play in their sandbox and to dis all the other kids. Jus’ sayin’
