Wow, this just goes to show us that none of our online PII information is secure. Businesses are pushing more things to online processing only. It makes us more vulnerable to hackers/bad actors. Hacking is big business with beneifts these days.

Yeah. I put a freeze on my ss# with the big 3 credit agencies. So no one should be able to open a credit account in my name without me authorizing.

Unless of course they hack that too. :astonished:

Its only a matter of when nowadays.

In this day and age I find it hard that anybody has not had data compromised. You can check if you were a victim here

Now ain’t that scary. :frowning: It just goes to show that nothing in this day and age is truly safe in this digital world.

Yet another reason I bought the full Proton Package. They have a dark web scanner for your creds. I received notification that one of my online accounts, for a business, had been compromised. They helped me delete the account and remove the end points that the breach exposed so the info went nowhere.
