Every time I turn on my Onn and get on my tivimate it says my playlist fails to load then I had to unplug it and then plug it back in sometimes to get it to start working I don’t know what I’m doing wrong but then sometimes I turned on and it works I don’t understand what’s wrong with it Am I doing something wrong or is it something with my system thank you
@Dawg27 , maybe a solution for ya in the following…
Playlist loading failures in TiviMate are most commonly caused by expired or invalid subscription URLs, corrupted app cache, or special characters in Video On Demand (VOD) titles breaking the M3U parser.
-
Verify Subscription Status: Ensure your IPTV subscription is active and the M3U URL or Xtream Codes credentials are current. Test the URL in a web browser; if it fails, contact your provider for an updated link. -
Clear App Cache: Go to your device’s Settings > Apps > TiviMate > Storage and select Clear Cache (do not clear data yet). Force stop the app and restart it to refresh the playlist.
-
Adjust User Agent: On Google TV or Firestick, go to Settings > General > User Agent and change it to VLC. This often resolves compatibility issues with specific IPTV servers.
-
Disable VOD Loading: If the playlist contains thousands of movies, special characters may break the parser. Go to the playlist settings and uncheck “Include VOD” or “Load VOD” to see if the live channels load successfully.
-
Re-add Playlist: If clearing cache fails, delete the playlist from TiviMate and re-add it. Using Xtream Codes API (if available) is generally more stable than M3U URLs.
-
Check Network & VPN: Temporarily disable any VPN or change your DNS to 8.8.8.8 (Google DNS) to rule out ISP blocking or routing issues. Ensure your device’s date and time are set correctly.
-
Update App: Ensure you are running the latest version of TiviMate from the official store, as updates often fix parsing bugs.
Sorry I’m kind of new to this I’m trying to figure all this out what is my DNS for Google what’s that that I can change sorry to sound like a dummy really trying to figure all this out I appreciate everything I will get on them things and see if it works thank you again
Hi
@Dawg27 Please don’t ever consider yourself a “dummy!!” I felt like that when I first joined Troypoint and soon learned that all I had to do was ASK for help and so many members helped me! @Miki was my first “Professor” and I was (and still am!
) not only his student but now after many years, I am able to help out with members who need help!!
Just always feel comfortable to ask questions - and you will learn so much from so many!
@Patachou you were not only a joy to help but a very quick learner. So although I may have helped you out I enjoyed every minute of it and now the student becomes the teacher, that’s exactly how life should be. Be well and enjoy life to the max. Live, laugh, love and above all STREAM ON!!!
Thank you so much, Professor @Miki!!
Here’s an apple for my teacher
Ooops
I didn’t check for any
worms in the
apple! Lol
U need a new url for ur account . Ask ur iptv provider for a new server address. That WILL solve your problems. Every time. It can happen ever so often, so don’t freak out if it does. Jus ask for new server address. Have a great day friend.
I also have x codes and running it on Tivimate. I had Surfshark vpn and my Playlist wouldn’t load. I had to turn off my vpn and let the Playlist load. I switched to Pia vpn and had no more issues. Get in touch with xcodes and they will give you a free pia vpn sign in.
Right on thanks I will do that
I had one playlist that suddenly would not load. Took me a few hours to track down why. Turned out it was being blocked at the DNS level. Switched DNS in my VPN settings and all good now.
