So I bit the bullet and bought the Pro version because with my Tivimate I was getting shorted on my recordings and some said this fixed their problem. I do like how you can find your recordings in the app. However it seems to have messed up when I quick click a program for recording. It doesn’t even give me an option to use MXP, lots of other options that have nothing to do with recording. This is when I go into the settings and in playback I click yes for external player, doesn’t show which player though. Something I’m missing? Thanks
Don’t quote me on this and I’ll test this in a bit, but I think if you only have one external player then it automatically uses that one. I think you’ll get a choice if you have say MX Player Pro and VLC for example. Also not sure what you’re meaning, but external player has nothing to do with recording, only playback.
I think I might still have VLC loaded so I’ll go and delete it. Really weird when I do want to record something, it comes up with that choose a program to open it ? Strange. No fun if I can’t quote you!
Lol. I never see choose a program to open it. How did you get that? I only have record and customer recording when long clicking on a program and both of those have access to the recording settings but that’s just for setting dates and times for New recording and of course things for Start times and Repeat which gives ya days of the week to set recordings. The only time I get the external player option is on a recording I long click and then the option opens to Open in external player.
Now when I click n a station it wants to give me an option on how I want to open it. Going in settings to see what I clicked accidently Tivimate
I have never seen that and have no idea how you did that. I open my playlist, click on a channel and it opens. Maybe in playback under Use external player choose no. Then when you want to play a recording using MX long press on the recording then choose use external player.

Exactly. It always is. The variety of settings is unreal and I’ve had to completely start from scratch the odd time. That’s why I do a backup when it’s working well and before I start digging into the deep settings, then if I mess up I do a reinstall of my backup and try again.
Now it won’t work at all. Unable to access recordings. Unable to validate the purchase. My Google account is up and running. Not sure what I’m supposed to do with this
I just uninstalled and reinstalled and now it’s working. Should have thought about that earlier. Now if I just could get my Tivimate to create a backup I would e a happy camper
