They really need to concentrate on making good movies, an art they lost back in the early 90’s.

I agree about that! Seems like the majority of movies being made now are either violent, demonic, or just full of crap in general. We used to have feel good movies, now all we have is feel bad movies.

Watched “The Burial” last night. Excellent new movie. No blood, guts, zombies etc. Just an excellent “based on a true story” movie.

I hate to say this but all the “new movies” are nothing but remakes of old movies and they even do that badly. It seems like the writers can’t come up with anything original anymore.

It seems that many of the competing streaming platforms are more focused on the attraction of “new” accounts than creating their own exclusive original content purposed to give each individual entity a uniquely “niche” identity (such as Shudder for an example);
apart from the plethora of action-clones & TV series stand-alones that never seem to evolve past a lonely single season. Hardly enough airtime to become enamored with a storyline, let alone genuinely invested in a character’s backstory. Especially when you can be all but certain that even if you found the program to be something celebrated; services like Netflix would seemingly much rather have 10 mediocre films added to their library than 5 award winning documentaries or a couple Emmy nominated Crime Dramas. Paid subscriptions should prioritize Quality over Quantity Every Time! After all, if I wanted to watch Fried Green Tomatoes - I would have turned on TUBI and saved $20…
