Movies/TV Shows play slow on Tivimate and Smarters

I’m using an Onn 4K. Recently when I play movies or TV shows thru Tivimate or IPTV Smarters the playback is sluggish. Playback on live TV is fine. Anyone have this issue and if so, a fix? Thanks in advance

Sounds like low internal memory. Try clearing cache on all apps. including downloader , vpn and playstore . Delete any apps you don’t use or need. Disable apps that come on device that you don’t use .

no not a factory reset, just a standard reboot. I had to give my shield a reboot last night, wasn’t playing well with my BT headphones.
