Move Categories in IPTV Smarters

I finally got with Amber and am trying their iptv service. Running it with Smarters free version. Is there any way to move USA categories to the top?
Or maybe hide all the ones you dont want to see? Thanks in advance!

I’m not sure with the free version, but with all the versions of IPTV Smarters I’ve seen you would go into Settings, then Parental Control. Set a simple 4 digit password like 1234, then save. Now your channel categories will load up, then you click the ones you don’t want to show. It will have a lock appearing to the right side to indicate they are locked out from showing up.

Hello @Dkl502 no you can’t move categories around. I suggest TiviMate if you want to do that as others have said as well.

This can be done though.

This worked well. Thanks

Using the parental control thing that Tech2 describes works great.

@Tech2,

Thanks so much for sharing. I just remove unwanted categories. Loving my reduced listing. I’m not a sports watcher and was glad to remove all those different categories.

Absolutely!!… Having tried ‘Many’ IPTV Players including Smarters, I can confidently say that TiviMate is THE best one out there! Yes you do have to pay an activation fee (You can choose a one time lifetime or start with short term) to access the ton of Premium Features available and do mean ton! But it is well worth it and moving categories, favorite channels, and general navigation couldn’t be easier!
The options for personalization are amazing and I still find new ones!!
Trying to work with other players now seems like a real chore!

I don’t think anyone would dispute the fact that TiviMate is the better choice. But if you’re looking for a backup player or just an alternative choice that is free, IPTV Smarters would be my pick of the runner-ups. It’s pretty solid.

Premium Tivimate is a lot more flexible than IPTVSmarters, and I’d agree, superior. However, the free basic Tivimate isn’t near as good as IPTVSmarters.

If you’re using two or more playlists, Tivimate Premium can be configured to seamlessly switch playlists to watch content. Recording future programming is easy also, but is sensitive to any buffering.

Found the same issue on a recent download of Smarters Pro. to use lock out to hide, need paid version

Use the 3.1.5.1 version located in Troy’s toolbox ( :shushing_face: it allows you to lock out categories)
