I’ve seen an article a week about this. 
But why just Amazon? Surely the UK doesn’t only allow Amazon streaming devices? Or do they? I sense a conspiracy here.

The way it works in the UK is you can only buy streaming devices online so most end up buying a firestick because they are cheap and not filled with malware like the ones we buy online. I see in the US you can buy them in Walmart, in the UK Walmart owns ADSA but they don’t sell streaming devices. In specialist electronics shopss like “curry’s” you can buy Apple/ROKU but no generic Android boxes. They might sell them somewhere but I’ve not seen any.
I have bought every streaming device I own and used, on line. Get the best prices that way.
Yeah I bought a 4K Maxx from home Depot online, have the cheapest price.
