MeTV Toons Brings Classic Cartoons Back to TV - Where to Watch

I couldn’t find it on any of my playlists. However, I did find this on the net.

"Defy TV is a digital multicast television network that launched in the United States on July 1, 2021. It primarily airs reality shows and is owned by the E. W. Scripps Company’s subsidiary, Scripps Networks. Defy TV is scheduled to close on July 1, 2024, and will be replaced by Ion Plus."

I do have ION Plus on 3 of my paid services and it also appears on 2 F.A.S.T m3u8 urls, Samsung+ and Plex. Although, I didn’t see anything mentioning Defy.

Well I thank you for the info. I feel like I owe you some research fees now! :grinning: Was unaware that the channel was going away in a couple days, wow. I have ION Plus also, but it’s not carrying the same shows as Defy. Maybe when Defy dies off they’ll reincarnate over to ION Plus.

So glad I now have this channel.

I am 72 years old and when I was a kid I loved them all.

I think they were Warner Brothers cartoons but I could be wrong.

My No 1 favorite is the Roadrunner and Daffy Duck and the one with the road island red rooster with the baby hawk or whatever it was lol.
My memory might be slipping a bit.

They were all great cartoons by all means.

They should show them on tv every day so kids now days can see them rather than some of the stuff they call cartoons now.

Hope I didn’t offend anyone, if I did I apologize.

lol just my opinion…you really shouldn’t need to apologize for saying that

My wife and I still watch some of the looney tunes every day. Many of those shorts were comedic gold.
I still watch the 3 stooges wife doesn’t enjoy them as much lol

Good for you @teehar . Spot on. No need to apologize and I loved stuff like foghorn leghorn. OMG when big old Foghorn gets dragged around by the much smaller leghorn it is purely hilarious. These cartoons made us laugh at ourselves, and in a way we never found offensive. Cartoon treasures.

I’m only 39, but my Dad brought me up on the Three Stooges. I know every episode by heart at this point. My Mom didn’t think they were funny or really didn’t like my Dad showing them to me because of the slaptick comedy. I don’t watch them as much anymore, but I do have the whole set of them. Different times back then versus today, that’s for sure.

There wasn’t much to watch back then over the antenna.!

I hope that was sarcasm lol. Some of the greatest tv shows of all time came from back then.If you could get the 3 major networks you were pooping in high cotton lol.We had a huge antenna on the roof with amplifier and rotator.Sanford and Son on NBC All in the Family had to turn the antenna to CBS lol.Oh and Happy Days was on ABC

I built a tower for our antenna. A 50’ self support. Set into 64 cubic feet of cement. Even made my own gin pole to get the array up. Got a dynamite rotor and had it marked for every channel we could get. Damn and that was cutting edge. Now 6,000+ channels, a Shield Pro and IPTV with 4K, HDR 10+ and surround sound. A long way from B & W.

My friend, that is what I call hardcore lol.I bet you were the envy of the town with that setup.

We were on the edge of town, down the bottom of a hill on a dead end road beside the railroad tracks, and the river. Nobody ever came down there. Lol.
