Vizio tvs do not recognize the Mecool Km6 Android box or the Mecool Kd3 stick. Any help in resolving this would be appreciated thank you

Try unplugging TV and devices for 5 minutes.
Hey @Anthonyd Does the exact setup (KM6/KD3 device…power cable…hdmi cable) work on any other tv? (trying to rule out a device hardware problem) Have you tried a different kind of streaming device, such as a firestick, on the visio tv? (trying to rule out compatibility problem) thnx…

Make sure the tv is set to the proper hdmi port in settings. Also as mentioned try another device to rule out the mecool. If another device is recognized then swap the hdmi cables on the mecool…post back.

The KM6 and KD3work on other brands .Only one that doesnt work is Vizio. I have setups working in Samsung and Panasonic and also LG. No issues at all with those
Tried other devices. FIRESTICK and cable boxes work fine on the Vizio. Switched out the hdmi cables also. No luck with the Mecool products
Did that. No luck. Very strange that it does not recognize Mecool.
OK…you just eliminated all hardware (including hdmi cable) & device problems…so now everything can be concentrated on why this Vizio model tv doesn’t like your Mecool devices. Not being familiar with your tv, I’m not sure I can offer you anything you probably haven’t tried in your tv settings. My suggestion would be to contact Vizio & quiz one of their tech support people, as I have seen one or two similar complaints after doing an internet search…but no solutions. Mecool’s support kinda sucks, so if nobody else has any fix for you, I’d give the Vizio peeps a shot. GL2U & sorry I couldn’t be more helpful 
hmmm, try setting your tv picture mode to pc or computer and see what happens…
edit…might need a reboot of both

I am having the same problem. I have sold these different model Mecool android boxes for the past 3 years and the KM6 is the only one that will not work on the Vizio. The KM1, KM2 and other off brands work but not the KM6. I sure wish I could get a way to use it because the KM6 is one of the best Mecool boxes made.
have you tried swapping out the hdmi cable?
I have tried everything I know of. The KM6 box works with all other vizio tvs but will not work with the M65. I have sold several of these boxes and they have worked on all other tv models except the M65 so it has to be the interface between the box and the TV.
Bought new vizio 70" smart tv. Connected my mecool andoid box with my iptv wifi with hdmi. Power kicks off on tv and.mecool every few minutes! Why?
based on the Troypoint review, I recently replaced all my Firesticks with the Mecool 4k km2 plus deluxe. So far, I’m liking the unit very much in quality and functionality.My question is, is there any way to stop the daily adding by the system to load unwanted apps onto my unit? I now have a couple dozen apps asking me if I want to buy movies, etc. that I did not ask for or want, similar to the Firestick doing so, which I always hated ( with apparently no way to remove them). I know that the review said that you could not remove pre-loaded apps, but can I stop the endless additions of these new apps?
