Hello I have owned my MeCool for about a year. It will no longer connect to WiFi. I recently switched my router to the TP Link XE 75 mesh routers. It finds the network but after putting in my password it will try connecting but then comes up with the error “couldn’t find network (my network name)”. I have tried a factory restore but it still won’t connect. Can anyone help?!
go into you router settings for wifi and check settings, password etc. Its possible the ax,or wifi 6 settings might not be suited for the mecool. If the router is set to wifi6 as a test try turning it off and try to connect. Also sometimes a router re-boot could fix the issue.
edit…I would 1st re-boot the modem, then router…re-try connecting if still a no-go then check ax(wifi6) settings
Thanks so much for the quick reply. I have rebooted the modem and the routers to no avail. The 6GHz is set to dedicated backhaul so that shouldn’t be an issue
well point I was making is I dont believe the box works with wifi6(correct me if I’m wrong) but I was looking Troys review and didnt see wifi-6 mentioned although I could have missed it. If thats the case its possible turning off wifi-6(AX) settings on the router might get it to work… just thinking 
I understand lol. I’m only using the 2.4 and 5 GHz not the 6.
is 6 turned off on the router?
Hard to say then. But I do know I had a non-wifi6 box, cant remember which one but when I disabled wifi-6 the box would work and would not with wifi-6 on. In my case I needed the wifi 6 for a distant box so my solution was getting a mecool km6 at the time that solved my issue and provided a quality stream via wifi-6 to a room about 40 ft away through 3 walls.
Yea I’m not sure like I said I’m not using WiFi 6 so not sure what’s going on or what the issue is🤷♂️
