My KM2 remote volume doesn’t work,tried to take out the batteries to connect …but still not working. Would anyone know why ?

In remotes and accessories does it show remoteG10 connected?
don’t know,but I will have a gander and see thx 
if it does then look under remotes… where it says set up remote buttons. Try that.
If no remote then hit add accessorie and go from there.
