I’ve searched and can’t find anything relating to my query, I’m sorry if I’m duplicating😬
My Mecool KM2 Plus won’t connect to Downloader, or any other browsers, to sideload APKs. Prime works fine as does Google Play Store, but I’m unable to add anything outside of these. Has anyone else experienced this on this particular device and have any advice on what to do? The only option I can think of is a factory reset, but wanted to explore other options.
BTW… I’ve reached out to Mecool about resetting to factory as the suggested solutions won’t work for me.
Are trying to load using Troy’s Troypoint Tool Box? In his instructions he lists the downloader code. I was trying to find the link to tutorial where Troy shows how load Downloader but couldn’t find it. I will try and search it out…or you can do it if you like.
I can’t access the web on any browsers.
The reason I need to reset is some APKs on my box all of a sudden won’t work, like Stremio, Downloader, and others, as if I have no connection to the internet; however Prime and Netflix seem to work fine🤷🏼
I uninstalled Stremio and signed out on my box and now I can’t even log back in, despite the homepage looking as it did.
Mecool sent me a reset link for the KM2 Plus, but that didn’t do anything, and didn’t seem to have the files in their description, so I’ve asked them to clarify.
I ended up doing a factory reset as that was the only solution that worked. It’s now my third choice over the Onn.4k Pro and Onn.4k as these perform perfectly over the more expensive boxes.
Yes, I have a MeCool KM2 Deluxe and it is now hooked up in the garage. Every other time i use it, the sound goes out and I have to reboot it to get it working.
