Well I tried twice with the update. It goes through the whole process saying it’s updating, but when it completes it says I am still on Android 11. No worries though! I did your other suggestion and deleted the downloader and then redownloaded it. I was then able to download the MX Player Pro from the toybox! Thanks for all your work on this. Not sure why mine will not upgrade.
Sorry, I just realized you are using the Deluxe version. You basically just reinstalled the same OS which is 11.
They are coming out with Android TV 14 sometime in 2025 so just follow this video again when that happens.
Here is what they say.
“Regarding updates for MECOOL devices, the KM2 PLUS DELUXE, KM2 PLUS, KM7 PLUS, KD3, KD5, KM2, KS3, and KM9 PRO MAX will be upgraded to Android 14. While we aim for this upgrade to occur in 2025, the exact date is still to be determined. Additionally, the KM2 PLUS will first be upgraded to Android 12 before transitioning to Android 14.”
Glad you got Downloader working! Should have offered that as a suggestion right from the beginning.
