Has anyone figured out why the SL channels work in the morning, die sometime midday, and then start working again late evening?
What is SL channels, I’ve found that if I use a vpn it works all the time same as the Crew.
SL = Sling at least that’s what I figured.
Sling TV Live Channels = SL
Sling TV is a streaming service that allows cord-cutters to watch live television without a cable or satellite subscription.
The biggest difference between Sling TV and cable is that it requires a high-speed internet connection and a compatible device.
Any streaming service needs “high speed” imho. I have an excellent VPN, Proton and now get speeds of 80+ down, so I guess that’s high speed. SL=sling as I noted, isn’t really any different. I did notice that SL in the Mad Titan addon had been problematic in the last couple of weeks, but I no longer use kodi until such time as more stable and viable addons come along. To many issues.
Yes. Obviously most streaming services required high speed internet but this will vary in video quality e.g: 25 Mbps to watch Ultra HD Movie little less to watch 1080 HD.
Streaming devices Kodi TV box, Firestick/Tv, Nvidia shield and VPN providers remain personal choices.
The problem is, in my years of streaming experience the figures you quote are inaccurate. It is my experience that in order to stream a quality vid of at least 720p, let alone 1080 or 4K, you need speeds between 30-35 MBps down and I personally don’t consider 30 as high speed, not in today’s world. Now in an ideal world where your network connection and the server you wish to stream from are close to you, along with a properly programmed and configured VPN, router etc. yes the speeds you quote may be sufficient, but I live in a world of reality where lag, line noise, and pings vary widely.
No Mr. Miki This time no typos.
I check my results. Those are published by TP manual internet speed for streaming, you can checked scroll down to download speed.
What is a Good Internet Speed
Oh I know what’s published, as I said, these speeds are under ideal conditions and I disagree with those figures, after years of experience. They are sufficient but only under “ideal” conditions as mentioned, not real world conditions. But we’re hijacking this thread so I’ll leave it at that.
I’ve tried SL TV in Mad Titan and it only works for me if i set the VPN to USA, the rest work with the Vpn set to Europe.
Yes I agree with you. But when it comes to results I always check my source by starting with TP manuals.
Anyway this is very important topic to discuss about it
I applaud you for that. All Troy’s info is a good place to start, but just that, a starting point. From there every system is different and tutorials and vids are only a beginning. Experience and knowledge are the things that will expand that learning.
Here to never had problem with Mad Titan if there’s I always change server location
Of course that’s why I mentioned earlier that Streaming devices Kodi TV box, Firestick/Tv, Nvidia shield and VPN providers remain personal choices, and experience, and if they don’t connect always try another servers.
Not about connection location, or device, it’s about speed. IMHO you need at least 30-35MBps down for a good streaming experience. But again we’ve hijacked this. No more from me. PM me if you like.
Well anyway we all agree high speed internet is always better
If high speed is considered over 30+, agreed.
Free stuff comes and goes sir. Keep watching it and check out troypoints sports apps.
