M3U URL for IPTV service

I subscribe to an IPTV service that I have a M3U URL for. Anyone know if there is a way I could use it as the TV guide in the Planet Diggz, Xenon, or Eminence build?

If there’s a place for a url then you can give it a try. Theoretically it should work.

It would need to be m3u8 for epg to be contained or .epg file. However the m3u will work if you have another epg already installed.

Thank to both for the reply. I added the link in but it doesn’t appear that it’s working as it only plays off the original playlist and not the one I created. Will keep trying.

Are you using the epg link for the m3u which starts out like this? http://SERVER_URL:PORT/xmltv.php
Notice it has xmltv.php in place of where you would normally have get.php for the m3u channels

No, I am using the link my IPTV service gave me with my username and password imbedded in the link.

Yes, that’s what I’m referring to. Does your m3u have a get.php in the url? It would be before the ?username=
If it does have the get.php in the url, you would change this to xmltv.php to get the epg. (normally that works)

This is only an example, you would use this
http:// your service provider. com : 25461/xmltv.php?username=yourname&password=yourpass

Instead of this
http:// your service provider. com : 25461/get.php?username=yourname&password=yourpass

Ok, I will try that.

Thank you!
