Low volume on shield when using Tivimate

Shield volume is really low when using Tivimate. Other apps are fine. Any ideas? TIA

I have no problems on my Shield Pro using TiViMate. I set my TV volume to max and then using the soundbar via my Shield remote I rarely go over 28 out if 100.
In Tivimate under Playback I have Audio decoder set to hardware and Audio passthrough enabled as well as Select surround audio track by default.

Is this issue present on all channels? If so, then do as @Miki suggests and turn your TV’s volume all the way up and then control your volume through your Shield’s volume.

I run my volume through my sound bar and control the volume using the Shield remote volume controls.
