Login Real-Debrid thru Cinema HD APK with ONN box? Safe?

I just updated my Cinema HD V2 apk to 2.6.0 on my ONN box. When I tried to pair it with Real-Debrid I found you no longer get a code to input on the Real-Debrid | Application Authorization web page. Instead it provides a code and you click “Continue” which loads a login page for Real-Debrid while still in the Cinema HD apk. (This has to be done without inputting the code on a real web page or you’ll get an expired code message when you click “Continue”. If you did try it on a web page go back or even close/reopen the apk and keep reloading the code page until you get a different code, then click “Continue”. A Real-Debrid login page will then open.)

Is this safe? How do I know I’m not providing my Real-Debrid login information to someone besides Real-Debrid?

Real-Debrid pairing on the Nvidia Shield Pro worked through the usual process of inputting the supplied code on Real-Debrid’s web page.

Just use a different device, open your RD auth. Page and add it like usual. You don’t have to click continue in the app itself.

I do understand what you are saying because that is the way it works on the Nvidia Shield/Cinema HD but with the ONN device the only thing you can do to get Cinema HD to pair with RD is to click Continue and log in to RD via their page. If you do it like normal (web page on another device) Real-Debrid does recognize it and add it to “My Devices” on the RD web page but Cinema HD does not recognize it and will not provide debrid links. If you then click Continue it will tell you the code is expired so you have to get a new code, click Continue and log in via the Cinema HD apk page.

Every other RD pairing I’ve ever done (which is probably around 100) works the way you said except for this Cinema HD apk on the ONN box. That’s what concerns me.

Cody_Plextor, scroll on down on the Account Settings Page. You will see a “General” Category, click the switch to log in as TV Mode. This will allow you to enter the code generated from Cinema, into another device (Phone, PC) on the RD website.

I just found this setting. Looks like you were struggling for awhile. Sorry for the delay…

This looks like it will fix the issue. Unfortunately I won’t have access to that ONN/TV setup to try your solution for 5 or 6 weeks but I will definitely give it a shot. Thanks again for your reply.
