Read an article a few years ago when OLED was the big thing that LG made ALL these monitors that every company bought. The companies just threw in their on software and such. Not sure if that is still the case
Yes lots of deals on panels now. Woot has some as do other sites.
That’s accurate still. Give it a few years and you’ll see OLED and micro LED competing.

Back in the day . . circa 1989 - Motorola had OLED screens on their first cellular flip phones . . .Oh . . and their communication equipment was used during the moon landing. Wonder what their TV’s would look like today if they were still in that business. . . just sayin’ . . .
