I recently had to reset firestick due to all the amazon apps hogging up space.
After downloading Kodi when I launch it the first time I dont get the continue screen or
the screen which says Kodi needs to access media files which then does not allow to connect.
All my other apps work fine. Ive used the rapid installer and downloader and get the same results.
Any idea??? It worked before resetting firestick
FireTV OS 5 is an older OS. Krypton 17.5 was the Kodi version back then I believe. So now before installing Kodi I would do a full update of the stick and then try installing Kodi again.
How do I update the stick…Not sure how

I had 19.3 Matrix on there before so kinda scatching my head
Settings>My Fire TV>About>Check for Updates.
Factory reset might have reverted the stick to an older FireTV OS. So update and reinstall Matrix 19.3
