Lately, my kodi app has been resetting to standard mode on its own, wiping all of the settings I made in expert mode. Anyone having the same problem??? I have the latest version of kodi.
Yes, but only the Onn box from Walmart.
Working fine on Firestick 4K.
Hi, go to Settings> Apps> Clear Cache.
Open Kodi wait a minute and let it run.
Settings> System> Add-ons Reset above settings to default> Unknown source on.
Go back few times then restart kodi from above.
Then open Kodi let it run for a minute, then go to Settings/System change from Basic to Expert.
If this doesn’t solve the problem repeat everything from start but this time don’t Clear Cache but Clear Data
But be aware if you follow this steps you will lose all add-ons and settings in kodi.

Kodi settings are the same on all devices.
The settings above must be done from inside kodi.
If didn’t work for you try to uninstall and reinstall it. Use TP manual to install.
