As long as the official Kodi team is active and addons popping up or being updated, I disagree with the premise of the thread. Just keeping abreast of this board, it seems like there’s been a lot more drama with Stremio than with using Kodi with POV or Umbrella.

100%! KODI has gotten so much better, easier to use and maintain since about 2020. Prior to that there were many issues and stuff would break a lot. Not a Programmer but I think the language the Dev’s use (Python maybe) has gotten so much better allowing for more stable addons. I test most of the ApK’s just to see what they look like but I find KODI easier to use probably cuz I been using it so long

Kodi is really just another media player. In our world, it’s future depends on the continued availability of working and maintained addons. The addons die, Kodi dies - the addons continue, Kodi continues.
