Today when I tried to log in to Kodi all I got was a black screen. All my other TVs are fine. I also tried logging in with Troy fork but that was also a black screen. I deleted both of them and reinstalled them from the Troy downloader app. After going through all the preliminary steps when I got to the repository and got to install it showed that all the script.module were “Not available. That puts an end to the addons for umbrella. I tried that with coco and it was fine. When I tried it with crew, I got the same script.modila were Not available. Then I tried it with the Troy Fork… same thing. E
I guess a few questions so we can try to help..
What version of Kodi?
Using a build or just addons?
Have you tried to clear cache?
Device you are using?
You say “logging in” bit i guess you mean “open” as kodi doesn’t require a log in
Need more info from you as both Umbrella and The Crew are working great. Try again using these guides. go slow and make sure you follow every single step
I encountered said black screen yesterday with my Onn 4K. I suggest you follow the same steps when you are installing any latest version of Kodi just like I did. Do not delete whatever version you have. I downloaded the latest Kodi version from Downloader and when the system asks you if you would like to update your Kodi, just click “update” and should be all set. Now my Kodi is working fine again with the same settings as the previous version. Hope this helps.
