I have never had this problem before, but I reset my onn 4k and am in the process of reinstalling kodi. I go to the permissions page, select Files - to Allow files however, the screen that allows you to choose “allow” never populates. The screen flickers and stays on the original screen not letting me select to allow. I also downloaded the troypoint fork and it does the same thing. I assume there is some other setting I have jacked up, but followed the video (I believe) step by step, so I am not sure what to do at this point. Please help. Thanks

That is where i have installed it from (several times) and where I installed the Fork from. I did try resetting kodi yesterday, all results the same. When I try going to the Files permissions page and it just flickers, it does show at the bottom of the screen “App not found”
There could be several things at play here.. Could also be a device issue. Are you having problems running other apps?
Everything else seems to be running fine.
I just reset my Onn 4K Pro two days ago and ran into the same problem. I found where to go. Go to settings and under apps, go to Special app access. On the right half of the screen is a list of Special App Access. Go to All Files Access and click Kodi to allow all access. If you have already done this, then you are good to go. This is what I had to do to get Elementum to install properly. If this works, great. If it doesn’t, then I have no answer.
