Kodi error" Remote communication failed to connect'"

Help! When I try to connect to Kodi I get the error “Remote communication failed to connect’” I have Kodi on two different Firesticks and both of them have this problem. I’ve searched the internet but none of the fixes apply to whatever problem I’m having. Is it possible that the Kodi site is down?
Is there a simple fix for this problem? I need one!

Kodi isn’t down, this typically means you incorrectly entered a addon link.

I would check that hide out. You might just have to reinstall.
