I don’t use a build with kodi, I installed a few apps ex: the crew, exodus, and ore. Installed thru repository, but when I went looking to open the addons they were not there? Suggestions?

So you added the sources, installed zip, installed from repository, and still don’t see them? You are looking in the addons section right?

Yes, I have done it before on other firestick. I force stopped kodi but still didn’t work. The repository has a check mark so they were installed

Since I know for a fact that the crew works with the most recent version of Kodi, I really have no idea 
I did some reading and it sounds like maybe your addon database is corrupted. You can Google how to delete it and reboot Kodi, or you can completely uninstall Kodi and start with a fresh installation. Maybe that will work.
